What a test report tells you.
The question, the setup, the observations and the limits—so you can decide what to test next.
This example summarises saved checks from our cabinet shop concept. It shows how we report results from this simulation; these checks do not establish physical performance.
Do the parts follow the intended sequence?
Check whether all eight cabinet parts complete their assigned operations, remain attached during loaded transport, and clear the selected machine geometry at sampled points.
- One authored Isaac Sim scene: one sheet, eight parts and five loaded transport legs.
- Panel positions sampled at 2 Hz against 644 static machine solids and columns.
- Separate checks for gripper contact and the moving assembly support.

These are selected results from the saved scene-validation record. “Pass” refers to each check’s defined scope, not approval of the complete manufacturing process.
A geometric pass has a narrow meaning.
Movement is authored. The checks do not simulate vacuum adhesion, machining forces, coating chemistry or cabinet joint strength. Sampling can miss interference between samples and does not cover every robot link, cable or tool.
The results do not establish safe operation, physical load capacity, production rate or commercial suitability.
Choose one physical handling question.
For example, assess whether the proposed gripper can lift a representative panel with the required margin. Agree the panel, surface condition, load, equipment and acceptance criteria before a bench test.
That would be a separate test. No result for it is claimed here.
